Instead of brushes, a brushless tool is equipped with a small printed circuit board. This PCB communicates directly with the tool to coordinate energy delivery. As you can imagine, a brushless cordless drill requires less energy for screwdriving in plasterboard than in hardwood. Unlike other brushless motors, our digital brushless motors automatically sense, based on the resistance, how much energy is needed to complete the job with ease.
