Power, grit, and glory: ready for the Tour de France Femmes

Power, grit, and glory: ready for the Tour de France Femmes

Experience meets rising talent

Leading the team is French all-rounder Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. A world champion across road, cyclocross, and mountain biking, she returned to road racing this year with one clear goal: to fight for the yellow jersey. With her explosive power and climbing skills, this year’s route suits her perfectly, as proven by her victory at Paris-Roubaix Femmes earlier this season.

She’s joined by the legendary Marianne Vos, whose sprinting strength and race craft make her one of the peloton’s most dangerous riders. Already a multiple stage winner in the Tour de France Femmes, Vos will be aiming to shine once again. Together with Marion Bunel, Femke de Vries, Imogen Wolff, Lieke Nooijen, and Eva van Agt, the squad combines climbing power, all-round ability, and youthful energy. Ready for every challenge this race presents.

A route full of opportunities and tests

The route promises plenty of action. The opening stages in Brittany are short, hilly, and perfect for early attacks: a chance for GC riders to show themselves right away. Two flatter stages follow, offering sprinters like Vos a shot at victory. Stage five, at 166 km, is the longest of this edition, featuring rolling climbs and an uphill drag to the finish that could favor either breakaway riders or GC contenders.

The race’s true test begins from stage six, as the mountains take center stage. The queen stage, finishing atop the Col de la Madeleine, will be decisive, but the race remains wide open until the very end. The final stage tackles the Col de Joux-Plane before a steep uphill finish in Portes du Soleil, making the overall battle a nail-biter until the very last climb.
