The men’s squad took home two impressive stage victories. In stage 10, Simon Yates surprised the peloton by winning from the early breakaway. And in the final stage, Wout van Aert conquered the rain-soaked climb of Montmartre with a powerful solo attack, crossing the finish line alone on the Champs-Élysées; his 10th Tour stage win.
Jonas Vingegaard showed consistency and strength throughout the race, securing second place in the general classification. He reached the stage podium eight times and, for the fifth consecutive year, finished in the top three overall in Paris. To top it all off, the team also won the team classification, a true testament to their depth, discipline, and collective power.
The women’s Tour began in spectacular fashion, with Marianne Vos sprinting to victory in stage 1 and claiming the first yellow jersey of the race. She added two more second-place finishes in the flat stages, proving once again she’s one of the sharpest finishers in the peloton.
But the spotlight soon shifted to Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, who was backed by a fully committed team throughout the week. Thanks to perfect teamwork, she stayed with the GC favorites and saved her best for the queen stage: the brutal Col de la Madeleine.
There, Ferrand-Prévot made her move. After a perfectly timed attack on the final climb, she caught teammate Marion Bunel, who had been part of the early breakaway. unel delivered a powerful effort to help drive the pace, providing crucial support at a key moment. Ferrand-Prévot launched a decisive solo attack, dropped all rivals, and won the stage, taking the yellow jersey with her.
She didn’t stop there. In the final stage, with six kilometers to go, Ferrand-Prévot attacked once more. She rode clear again, winning her second stage and securing overall victory in the general classification.
A spectacular win, sealed with three stage victories and total dominance in the final weekend. A historic achievement for Ferrand-Prévot, for France, and for Team Visma | Lease a Bike. At SKIL, we’re beyond proud to support a team that embodies strength, resilience, and determination; qualities we believe in and stand for every day.
As the men’s Tour de France nears its grand finale, another challenge is about to begin: the Tour de France Femmes. Starting this Saturday in Brittany, the women’s peloton faces nine demanding stages, finishing in the mountain resort of Portes du Soleil. Once again, SKIL is proud to support Team Visma | Lease a Bike as they aim for stage wins and a strong result in the general classification.
