The SKIL 8020 is a powerful 2000W heat gun that is ideal for a wide range of jobs like removing paint and stickers, waxing and dewaxing skis and much more. This heat gun is electronically controlled, which means that electronics prevent the tool from overheating by continuously monitoring the temperature level of the tool. VA1U8020AA does NOT come with extra heat gun nozzles, but is compatible with the most common, widely available nozzles.This allows you to use nozzles with small diameters for various soldering, desoldering and welding jobs. The heat gun is compatible with the most common, widely available heat gun nozzles on the market, so you can always find the right nozzle for your job. Different jobs require different temperatures and airflow settings. You can select 12 different temperature settings and you can choose between two airflow settings of 350 and 500 l/min. The unique nozzle-eject function allows safe instant removal of nozzles, especially when they are hot, for fast switching between nozzles for different applications. The heat gun has a wide base that allows you to place the tool in a stable position on a workbench for stationary use.
