The SKIL 3980, a powerful ’20V Max’ (18V) cordless electric planer, is ideal for planing surfaces, chamfering corners and making rabbets. The brushless motor is faster, stronger and lasts 10 times longer than a comparable brushed motor. The ergonomic design with softgrip and large depth setting knob that serves as extra front grip ensure optimum comfort and control over the tool. The high-quality TCT blades are reversible for double the lifetime. When one side wears out, you can simply turn the blades around and continue working. You can conveniently adjust the lever of the chip ejection to the left or right to match your working situation. For a cleaner working environment, you can connect the dust bag or a standard-size vacuum cleaner to both sides of the electric planer. The convenient parking foot prevents accidental damage to your workpiece when you want to rest the tool or put it away after the job. The SKIL 3980 CA is supplied with two reversible TCT blades, a dust bag, a dust adapter, a parallel guide and rabbeting depth adjuster. The battery isn't included.
