The ‘20V Max’ (18V) SKIL 2842 cordless drill meets all your DIY needs for the toughest screwdriving jobs and for drilling into wood and metal. It has two gears that you can use for either fast drilling or for tough screwdriving. The 23 torque settings ensure precise results for screwdriving and this tool also has one setting for drilling jobs. You can conveniently change accessories, thanks to the 10-mm single-sleeve keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock. All in all, this versatile tool truly offers everything you need: reliable Lithium-Ion battery technology for an optimized battery lifetime, variable speed and electronic brake for full control and the LED light ensures good visibility of your work. The patented battery-level indicator clearly shows the charge level of the battery, so you’ll always be in time to recharge. Last but not least, the ergonomic design and softgrip on the tool provide extra working comfort. The SKIL 2842 AA is supplied with one ‘20V Max’ (1,5Ah) battery, a charger and a double-ended screwdriver bit.

The battery packs are engineered to perform and designed to fit all ‘Energy Platform’ tools, meaning a single battery can power all. The ‘Energy Platform’ tools are available with and without batteries, which gives you the flexibility to add more tools to your range without being obliged to purchase new batteries and chargers as well. All batteries are equipped with ‘ActivCell’ to provide more consistent power. Our patented technology works to optimise power usage, preventing overheating and maximizing battery performance.
