The SKIL 3790 "20V Max" (18V) is a versatile and comfortable cordless dual action polisher with an 8 mm stroke, ideal for both paint correction and regular maintenance. Its speed pre-setting feature lets you set a max speed tailored to the task, preventing overheating. The variable speed trigger offers precise control, while the lock-on function provides comfort during extended use. Equipped with a brushless motor, it’s faster, more powerful, and lasts 10x longer than brushed motors. The SKIL 3790 CA includes pads for every stage: a pad for initial paint correction, a polishing pad for refining the surface and a finishing pad for applying wax or sealant. A cleaning tool is included to maintain pad effectiveness. The battery is not included.

Brushless: faster, stronger and lasting longer

The ‘20V Max’ (18V) SKIL 3790 is powered by an advanced digital brushless motor. Brushless motors don’t generate friction, which means they run more efficiently. Tools with brushless motors are markedly faster and more powerful than tools of a comparable size with a brushed motor. A brushless motor is also less liable to wear, another long-term advantage. In short: Brushless motors are faster, more powerful and have a much longer life than brushed motors of a comparable size.
